The Cecchetti/Balanchine curriculum is my foundation. I take it one step further by teaching in a “thinking” environment. Through emphasis on anatomical awareness, functional movement, and musicality I believe that the dancer will experience a new approach all while learning to use their bodies as a skilled machine.
Students should perform all basic level techniques while continuing to build your ballet vocabulary.
Students will work on the following:
BALLET TECHNIQUE ONLY
ages 9 to 13
1 ½ hours
BALLET TECHNIQUE & PILATES / STRENGTH COMBINED
ages 9 to 13

Students should have an extensive ballet vocabulary and ability to perform all proper basic technique. Students can now begin to train en pointe.
Students will work on the following:

BALLET TECHNIQUE & PILATES / STRENGTH COMBINED
ages 13 to 18
2 ½ hours
Students at this level will have made a full commitment to the serious study of ballet. You have potential to go into a career in dance or pursue a dance major in college. You will integrate the artistry, the complexity, and the challenges of dancing en Pointe in every class.

My Pilates-Strength Training classes introduce students to basics of Pilates and specific conditioning exercises to help with building strength and flexibility. I focus on the application of specific movements allowing for improved training, health, and longevity.
